When we got there, a long line was snaking down the sidewalk. After interrogating a fellow bargain hunter, we found that it was indeed the line for the sale. So we waited. And waited. And after about a half hour, we made it to the magical elevator that would take us up to what I thought would be an amazing shopping opportunity.
Sadly, the sale wasn't all that great. It wasn't in a warehouse, it was in some office space in the Ballard Building and it was packed with people. I only saw about three purses and they weren't very cool. There were some cute coats from Tweed, but even at 50% off, they were still in the $150 and up price range.
So, we blew that popcorn stand and headed to Old Ballard. After a bit o' looking, I found a cute necklace at Damsalfly. It's one of those neighborhood map necklaces - mine says "Greenwood", so now I can represent. (They have these necklaces at Laura Bee Designs, too.) I also got some sweet 70s sunglasses at Twenty Twenty. (Unfortunately, I look like I have Bell's Palsy in this picture.)

So all was not lost in shopping land. And I, for one, was relieved.
