Arctic Blast

They are calling our latest winter storm an "arctic blast" on the news. They could have used "Winter Storm 2007", but maybe they want to save that for next November.

At any rate, this was the view from my deck this morning. It's rather pretty, as long as you're not driving in it.

Aaron and I tried to venture out, but neither the Benzie nor the Mazdacar could make it up the slight incline of our side road to get to Greenwood. I'm being a wimp and staying home and Aaron took the bus.

Soooo, I've made a list of tasks to do today to use my time wisely. Thus far, I have almost completed one: post snow pic. But the day is young. (I had a friend in high school that would always say, "The night is but a fetus", but that kind of creeped me out.)

Anyhoo, I hope you're all enjoying the snow and driving safely. I'll be off to Walgreen's now! Tally ho!
