Hello, 2009

Do you make a list of resolutions for the new year?

I haven't really come up with any resolutions per se, except that I really want to get my cuticles looking presentable. Other than that, though, I mostly want to do or buy things. So, here's my list (yes, ANOTHER list! I can't help myself) of Things I Want to Do or Buy in 2009:

1. Buy a bike.
2. Ride the bike on the Burke Gilman Trail.
3. Compete in the Danskin Triathlon (there, I said it - so now I really have to do it, right?).
4. Get the carpet cleaned and stretched.
5. Buy a laptop.
6. Stop picking at my cuticles (for reals this time).
7. Get a dog (and stop just talking about getting a dog).
8. Get my brakes checked (oh, how they squeal!).
9. Take our friends up on their offer to go to their cabin in Manzanita, OR (maybe over President's Day weekend?).

What do you want to do, stop doing, or buy in 2009?

I already stopped drinking Coca-Cola for the new year and pretty soon I hope to dig up one of those teeth whitening kits (after ten years of a daily soda, I need it)

I'm keeping a PMA (positive mental attitude) for 2009. 2008 was a but rough around the edges, but I think 2009 will be a much better year!

Having a positive attitude and not drinking Coke both sound like good resolutions! I am hoping 2009 is a good year, too!
