With Easter right around the corner, what could be better than hard boiled eggs? You can color them, put them in a salad, make an egg salad sandwich or hide them around your yard, forget where they are and then ask where that funny rotten egg/sulphur smell is coming from. The options truly are endless.
"But, Kittykat? How do I make hard boiled eggs?" I'm so glad you asked.
I always consult my Better Homes and Gardens cookbook for proper timing.
These eggs were cooked following the directions to a "t", to avoid that "greenish ring" around the yoke.
Be sure to put your perfect hard boiled eggs in a safe location or mark on the box that they are hard boiled to avoid confusion. Nobody likes a runny surprise when they're simply looking for a healthy snack. And that's no yoke. (Wow, I've totally reached my pun quotient for the day, but I can't help myself.)
Mmmmm, eggtastic! (I have no self control when it comes to puns!)
Hoffy Easter!
