Flannel

With all this cold weather, I decided to embark on a mission to buy ivory colored flannel sheets. I was a bit apprehensive, because sometimes something that you think will be simple to find turns out to be impossible. (Like, oh, I don't know - comfy shoes?)

So, when I was at Ross last week, I was poking around in the towel area and my Mom turned and said, "Hey, here are some King size ivory colored flannel sheets!" Ok, actually, she just said, "Look at these - is this what you're looking for?" They had no price, but I threw them in the basket and figured we could do a PRICE CHECK at the checkout counter. (Those are always fun and garner evil looks from everyone behind you in line.)

When we got to the checkout, the line wasn't long and the price check was quick and we found out that the sheets were on sale for $14.99. Holy crap! Yep, you read that right. I almost fell over! What a steal!

And, I am happy to report, they are the softest, most wonderful sheets we have had in a long time.

I have been going to bed earlier and earlier, just so I can cozy up in the softness and warmth. (And I already go to bed at about 9pm, so pretty soon, my bedtime will be the same as my dinnertime.) I'll take flannel over high thread count sheets any day.
