Dance Dance Revolution Tunes

While working out on the elliptical trainer (or doing my "cardio" as the fit kids say), I need something a little more beat heavy than Spoon or Mogwai are able to deliver. So, I turned to C 89.5 for inspiration and Aaron helped me search for dance-y songs on iTunes. And so, I present to you my dance workout mix (or KittyKat's Guilty Pleasures Mix as Aaron calls it):

Salmon Dance - Chemical Brothers
Young Folks - Peter, Bjorn and John (there was a dance music version on iTunes that I can't seem to find a clip of)
Cut - Plumb
Raindrops - Stunt
Here (in your arms) - Hellogoodbye (This video is almost too embarrassing to watch, but the song is great.)
Fire
- Ferry Corsten
Every Time We Touch - Cascada (Aaron pointed out that this was a song on Dance Dance Revolution or "DDR" for those in the know.)

Always
- Matt Darey
What a feeling - Peter Luts featuring Dominico
Sand in my shoes - Dido
And she said - Lucas Prada (This video is particularly embarrasing also, but again, a good song.)
Be My World - Milky (This isn't really a video at all, but whatever.)
Hear My Name - Armand Van Helden
Straight Ahead - Tube and Berger featuring Chrissie Hynde (I actually found this on iTunes in German! But not on YouTube. In German it's "Gerade Aus", in case you were curious.)
Take Me Away - 4 Strings
Will I - Ian Van Dahl
Omnibus - Katie Skate and Lautsprecher
You and Me - Uniting Nations

I've listened to this mix twice so far at the gym and it helped me to stay focused and motivated. It also made me want to go back to Bellingham and dance at Rumors, but that's a bit of a drive. So I'll just enjoy my new tunes while power walking on the treadmill. Because, really, if I actually tried to do the salmon dance in public, people would probably think I was having a seizure.
