Twenty Two in a 2CV

My Dad sent me this amusing link from YouTube. He is the proud owner of a Citroen 2CV Dolly. His isn't blue, however. It is maroon and creme colored and he bought it in France when I was in eighth grade. As the name indicates, it has two cylinders, so it sounds like a lawn mower when it runs. Surprisingly, we did take it on the Autobahn when we lived in Germany. My Dad was in charge of taking me to my orthodontist appointments in Ramstein (the town, not the band), which was about 30 minutes north of us on the Autobahn. (And if you've never had braces, then you don't know pain.) Mind you, we always travelled in the slow lane, lest we get run down by a zippy Audi or Mercedes.

The most passengers that my Dad's Citroen has held is four. I can't imagine fitting 22 people in it! Leave it to those wacky Belgians to do something like that.
