Rasp

I had a foot emergency on Saturday. Even though I've been using my Amlactin lotion religiously, I was still battling unsightly dry heels. And even though it's all about Fall in all the magazines, it's still Summer in my world. Nobody wants to see cracked heels peeping out of the back of those strappy sandals (I know you all got the memo about that), so extreme measures were needed.

I minced over to Walgreen's in my tennis shoes and socks to avoid embarrassment. After perusing the selection of foreign implements (a tool that actually CUTS off calusses?), I decided to get a foot rasp. I know, it sounds like a medieval torture device, too, but it works!

I just soaked my feet in the tub and then set to work with my rasp. (I love saying, "Rasp". Say it with me, "Rasp." There, isn't that fun?) I won't get too graphic, but let's just say my feet are baby smooth now. So bring on the sandals and let's all enjoy the last bit of summer.
