Proactiv?

I am about one step away from ordering Proactiv. Or I may just consider wearing a bag over my head. (Paper or plastic?)

As you might have surmised, the Zit Fairy visited me last night. And, unlike the Tooth Fairy, instead of leaving me money, this fairy zapped me with an angry pimple. It's rather timely, actually, because I've been reading a book called "Breaking Out: A Woman's Guide to Coping With Acne at Any Age" by Lydia Preston. It's a pretty straightforward book and goes on about using retinoids like Retin-A and Avita (already got 'em), using a mild faceawash like Cetaphil (I already do) and being sure to use oil free moisturizer and oil free make-up (check and check). So, what gives? The book says that benzoyl peroxide in smalls doses (2.5%) is the best thing to fight the acne causing bacteria (blech.) So, therein lies the reason that I am considering following in the steps of Jessica Simpson so that I can do a testimonial about how frickin' great a product Proactiv is...but I'm not going to hook up with Nick Lachey, because I'm pretty sure I'd be taller than he is if I wore heels. (I'm sure Aaron is breathing a sigh of relief at that news...)
