Flight Risk

On the way back from Tahoe, we had some trouble checking in at the airport. The e-ticket kiosk commanded us to check in at the ticket counter, which caused us to be slightly alarmed, but not completely panicked. After giving the ticket counter operator my driver's license, I was informed that my name is on the "Selectee List".

He said to check the TSA website and that it's no big deal to get your name off the list. He assured me that someone with a name similar to mine who did something bad is causing my name to be flagged. My name is Danish, so it must be some kind of freaky Danish terrorist. (Possibly a Danish cartoonist?)

Anyway, we got on the plane and I didn't think much more about it, until I checked the website. It turns out that to get my name off the list, I have to fill out a stupid form and include copies of THREE pieces of ID and mail it in and wait to get my name removed. The cherry on top of this annoying sundae is that the copies have to be notarized! We here at Go, Go Kittykat are appalled at this inconvenience! Kittykat is not a terrorist! (Don't you hate it when people refer to themselves in the third person?) Anyway, Aaron and I have a wedding in Las Vegas to attend in June, so my name bloody well better be off the list by then. Bastards.

Dear KittyKat - we KNOW you submitted a Mohammed cartoon. Just come clean and no one gets hurt.
