Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is right around the corner! But never fear... I've taken the liberty of looking around for some super duper gift ideas for you. Because trust me, no lady that I know wants a diamond heart pendant from the Shane Company.

If you're a man looking for a present for your honeybunny, I've got just the thing: choose one of the sweet Soho Bracelets from Target. You can put pictures of the two of you in it or get all creative and shit...it's your call. The great thing about fun jewelry is that you don't have to break the bank. You could get her a cherry necklace (I have one of these - so cute!), a cutesy wootsey pink ring (*Disclaimer: You'll have to beat down 11-year-olds to buy this ring from Claire's, but it's cheap, so get in there and smack the braces off that 6th grader who's trying to buy the last one), there is also this simple necklace from Forever 21 would be nice to wear to work or out for drinks, and lastly this cuff bracelet is hot. (But Christ on a cracker - it's out of stock!)

If you're looking for gifts for the special man in your life then look no further than Fred Flare. You can get him a rad Talking Japanese Watch that he can fiddle with until you get so annoyed that you break it when he's not looking. (Erm, I didn't really mean that. And I can't believe I said "rad". Is it time for cocktails yet?) If your man is Aaron (and it better not be!) then you can get him this nifty Peeps maker. Unless you're a cheapskate like me and you just get him a package of Peeps for 99 cents from Walgreen's.

Some cool gifts for anyone on V-day would be Roadside Diner Paper placemats, a box of neat-o postcards (because nobody uses paper correspondence enough anymore), a love gun to liven things up (it's from Archie McPhee's, not Babeland! Put your pants back on this instant!), or a squeeze lighter to heat things up with a cozy fire.

So those are a few ideas to get you started. Good luck! And don't blame me if you shoot your eye out with your love gun!
