I saw this article on those eight people from Nebraska who won the Powerball lotto yesterday. They all went in on the ticket, so they each won $15 million. (They chose the lump sum payout.) They worked in a meatpacking plant, but only three have quit their jobs so far. They want to be sure to keep bringing home the bacon. (Shut up! That's what Diane Sawyer said on the news last night! I can't even take credit for that pun.) It got me thinking about what I would buy if I won the lottery. (Mind you, I never buy lottery tickets, but a girl can still daydream.) After buying all the lip gloss known to woman from Sephora, I would pop over to Bluefly and scarf up every stinkin' high end bag on their site.
After that, I would buy real estate for everyone in my family and for Aaron and me. Then I would buy a 60s vintage Citroen DS19 and hire a driver (who may or may not be named Jeeves). Oh, and I would QUIT MY JOB! Awwww, yeah!
But, after "taking the trolley back", as Mr. Rogers used to say, I'm going to settle for beers after work tomorrow and maybe, just maybe...a new condo!
