Aaron and I went to see the "40-Year-Old Virgin" on Saturday at the Metro. It was hysterical! I was afraid it might suck like "Dude Where's My Car" (I know, you don't have to shame me, I am already embarrassed enough that I wasted time watching it), but it was crass in a funny way like "Wedding Crashers" and also had a relatively plausible plot, which is something a lot of movies are missing these days. (Yes, I'm talking about "Monster-in-law", which I also should have avoided. It was no "Barbarella", I'll tell you that much.)
Paul Rudd, Catherine Keener, and the boss guy from The Office (the American version) and that guy from "Freaks and Geeks" (the heavier guy that is one of the freaks, not Nick or Daniel...but Ken) are all in the movie.
Even the Stranger gave it a star, and they are so stuck up that they never like anything.
So, if you want to see a funny movie with a happy ending, check out "The 40-Year-Old Virgin". I didn't even feel ripped off and I paid $9 to see it.
