Gettin' Hitched

We got confirmation that September 2, 2006, is a go for the wedding! Mark your calendars in ink, kids! The Fort Worden reservation office is going to send us a contract and then we just fill it out and send it back. I think they were a little annoyed by my "checking in" about the reservation, but that's not my problem. The catering people have been really nice, and they're the ones that we want to keep sweet so they don't pee in the soup a la "Fight Club".

In other good news, I bought my wedding dress yesterday! Aaron wants to be surprised by what it looks like, so I'll keep it a secret. All I'll say is that it doesn't make my arms look like Polish sausages. It was actually pretty fun to try on the dresses. My mom came with me and took pictures of all the different dresses. I even tried on a tooth fairy dress, just see how it would feel. (Like a cake topper.) We also tried on shoes. And, as you can see from my stunning picture, the disposable nylon footies really complete the look.

Now, I'm on to choosing the bouquet and the cake. Oh, the cake. Aaron isn't as into desserts as I am, but I'm frothing at the mouth just thinking about all that frosting. Mmmm...frosting.
